Reconciling Religion, Gender & Sexual Orientation

CEJI - A Jewish Contribution to an Inclusive Europe invites you to take part in a 2-day workshop on the subject of Reconciling Religion, Gender and Sexual Orientation.

Course objectives:

• Raise participants’ awareness of own identity re: religion/ belief, gender and sexuality
• Explores ways to live with ambiguity
• Develop literacy and self-expression when addressing the intersection of religion/belief, gender and sexuality
• Clarify concepts and myths
• Highlight options to deal with issues: inside self, between people, within and between communities
• Better manage relationships with those who are different
• Foster an appreciation for equality of rights for all
• Develop skills and strategies to confront sexism, homophobia and religious discrimination
